Wanted: Android Developer
Egeniq is growing steadily and we’re ready to add another person to our development team. We are currently looking for an Android developer. More than skills or experience we value passion for technology and in this case Android in particular. You should be able to explain why you love programming and/or Android, why you do what you do and how you think this could help us in our Android projects. You do not fear Apple fanboys, you respect them for their opinion but you have a very clear idea of why you like Android and are able to explain that. Our environment thrives with opposing opinions and we are succesful not in the least because we bring together passionate people with individual opinions.
We value Software Engineering above Coding, and if you want to work with us you should be able to tell us the difference between these two principles. As a software engineer, having experience with more than just Android would be advantageous as well; it not only helps you put things in perspective, it will also enable us to grow our team with more than just Android skills.
So that is, in a nutshell, what we are looking for in our new team member. Perhaps more important is what we have to offer you. We offer you a job in a growing company that does ‘cool things with mobile technology’. See our website for an overview of some of our customers. We’re not a 9 to 17 company, nor do we require people to come to the office. Passionate people work best if they have a say in how, where and when they work, so that is what we try to facilitate (note: we are primarily looking for someone in, near, or willing to come to The Netherlands though). I’m naturally biased, but all of our current team members are great to work with. They are talented and creative individuals that are able to take a challenging problem and devise a solution for it. You will be able to learn a lot from them; in fact we all learn from each other on a daily basis.
We love to share knowledge by the way, which is why we speak at conferences and organize mdevcon, a conference by and for mobile developers. As a token of appreciation, if you apply for this job and get past the initial interview (we do at least two before we hire someone), we’ll give you a ticket (as long as they are still available, so don’t wait too long).
Interested? Send us a CV and motivation at jobs@egeniq.com
Just by using the phrase ‘Apple fanboys’ you have shown that you don’t respect them. Good luck hiring, fan droids.
Hi Susan; WE are the apple fanboys – might help understand the joke.
